General Description / Special Programs
OSU Anthropology students take courses in all four subfields of anthropology with an applied focus. They can specialize in biocultural, cultural/linguistic or archaeology. Interdisciplinary study is facilitated by being in a School with Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies, Ethnic Studies, and World Languages and Cultures. In addition, Anthropology faculty are active in the interdisciplinary programs of Food in Culture and Social Justice, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Arts and Humanities, and Humanitarian Engineering.
