Comprehensive coverage of 5 major fields in Anthropology. Graduate collaborative programs in Aboriginal Health, Addictions Studies, Aging and Life Course, Asia-Pacific Studies, Diaspora and Transnational Studies, Environmental Studies, Ethnic and Pluralism Studies, Global Health, , Jewish Studies, Sexual Diversity Studies, South Asian Studies, Women’s Health, Women and Gender Studies.

ARCHAEOLOGY: Research programs in the Great Lakes region, Northwest Coast, Arctic, the Near East, East Asia, South Asia, Africa. Faculty interests incl hunter-gatherers, origins of agriculture, state-level societies; interpretation of lithic, ceramic, faunal, botanical and settlement data.

EVOLUTIONARY: human osteology, forensic anthropology, primate biology and ecology, human origins, Miocene paleoanthropology, demography, health

SOCIETY, CULTURE & LANGUAGE: rural and urban Canada, West Europe, Africa, Oceania, Latin America, Asia; global interconnections.
