The Anthropology program at UTC offers undergraduate students a strong, foundational education in archaeology, biological anthropology, and cultural anthropology. The UTC Anthropology program has a strong emphasis on experiential learning. Opportunities for study and undergraduate research are tangential to faculty expertise including underwater archaeology, the anthropology of food, Latin American anthropology and archaeology, environmental anthropology, ethnography, archaeology of the Southeast United States, archaeology of the Caribbean, and medical anthropology.
