Other Degree Requirements Minor in anthropology: 15 credits of upper division Anthropology courses which includes one Theory course and one Methods course. Students must also take one upper division course designated as a Methods course by the Department of Anthropology. Courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.

BA candidates required to complete the U of Hawai'i at Manoa General Education Core requirements in basic skills and understanding and 31 semester hours which include lower division courses in cultural anthropology, physical anthropology, archaeology, and the history of anthropology. Six courses of upper division courses are also required.
