The anthropology major requires 10 courses: The Anthropological Perspective; Ethnographic Field Methods; Anthropological Theory; one advanced anthropology seminar, tutorial, or research practicum; and six additional department electives. Two of these six electives may be sociology courses. The anthropology minor, available to students in any major except sociology, consists of six courses: The Anthropological Perspective; Ethnographic Field Methods or Anthropological Theory and four additional anthropology courses.
