BA/BS Requirements
Within the required 42 hours in anthropology, 24 hours must be at the 3000 level and above with at least 9 hours at the 4000 level. In addition to the cultural anthropology requirements, a minimum of six hours in a non-native language (expertise demonstrated by course work or testing) are required for the major. Students are required to complete the following courses: ANTH 1100 Introduction to Cultural Anthropology; ANTH 2825 Qualitative Research Methods; ANTH 3550 Anthropological History; ANTH 4150 Anthropology in Theory; ANTH 4825 Senior Thesis.
