Offers modules in Honours Specialization, Specialization in Anthropology; Majors in Anthropology, Sociocultural Anthropology, Linguistic Anthropology, Archaeology and Biological Anthropology; Minors in Anthropology, Environment & Culture, Refugee & Migrant Studies. The department participates in the undergraduate Inter-Faculty Linguistics Program and graduate collaborative programs in Environment & Sustainability, Migration & Ethnic Relations, and Transitional Justice & Post-Conflict Reconstruction.

MA/ MS Requirements Anthropology MA in Sociocultural (including Linguistic) Anthropology, Archaeology and Bioarchaeology streams: two-year program requires six semester courses and a thesis. MA in Applied Archaeology: two-year program (or four-year program on a part-time basis) requires five semester courses, a practicum and a thesis.
