(1) Multiple research labs; (2) Simulated Archaeology Site; (3) Field programs - see below; (4) Chinese culture and language classes at HSU, and a one or two semester program in the People's Republic of China; (5) Cultural Resources Facility: A non-profit organization providing professional CRM services locally and research opportunities to HSU students.
Students may take internships with the Cultural Resources Facility or with local organizations.
Multiple research labs: Archaeology, Bio/Zooarchaeology, Biological Anthropology, Isotope/DNA, 3-D & Geospatial, Ethnography, Applied Anthropology; Simulated Archaeology Site; and collaborations with Women's Studies, International Studies, Native American Studies and Geography programs at Humboldt State University.
Most courses offered in the department are offered online periodically.
