DePaul's undergraduate program in Anthropology is designed to involve students with engaged anthropological practice in both ethnography and archaeology. Our curriculum emphasizes experiential learning, community engagement, and an understanding of theory and ethics as applied in anthropological research. Over thirty long and short term study abroad programs are available, (studyabroad.depaul.edu) as are internships at cultural institutions across Chicago, and opportunities through the Steans Center for Community-Based Service Learning & Community Service Studies (steans.depaul.edu).
