General Description / Special Programs
The anthropology program is part of the interdisciplinary Department of World Languages and Cultures. We provide our undergraduate and graduate students with core training in humanistic and scientific approaches to studying anthropology while simultaneously emphasizing the benefits of transdisciplinary collaborations. Faculty are engaged in active cultural anthropology and bioarchaeology research projects in Europe, Latin America, and North America.
