The emphasis of the undergraduate program is on applied, community-based and internationally-based practice in both ethnography and archaeology. Over thirty foreign study programs available (studyabroad.depaul.edu), including anthropologist-led programs in Austria, Bahamas, Jordan, and Mexico. For local internships, Steans Center for Community-Based Service Learning & Community Service Studies (steans.depaul.edu).
