General Description / Special Programs
This program emphasizes courses in cultural anthropology, physical anthropology, and archaeology. Teaching collections are available to the students for study and research. Students can also conduct independent studies with professors on topics of their choice. A field methods course is available for students to learn ethnographic research methods.

1. Pathways Curriculum, 2. 33 Semester hours including Introduction to Anthropology and either Introduction to Prehistoric Archaeology or Human Evolution, Social Research Design, Anthropological Imagination, one additional methods course, and at least one upper division Physical Anthropology or Archaeology course. At least 22 hours must be upper division courses chosen in consultation with the adviser, 3. Electives sufficient to total 124 semester hours.
